How do I do square root?

The square root is a mathematical operation used to find a number which, when multiplied by itself, results in the given number.

For example, if we want to find the square root of the number 16, this means we're looking for a number which, multiplied by itself, gives 16 :
?×?=16.? × ? = 16.
In this case, the square root of 16 is 4, because 4 × 4 = 16.
