Hello, In my class we saw the Apartheid.. I know it has to do with racism but I don’t remember exactly what it is, can you help me please?

    Hi Kindtyrannosaurus332!:)

    Apartheid was a law limiting the rights and freedoms of black communities. This law was adopted in 1948 in South Africa.

    From this point on, black people could no longer circulate in the same places as white people, they had to keep a passport with them at all times and could not marry white people. If black people did not respect these demands, they risked serious consequences such as prison, torture or even death.
