    Hello

Humans became sedentary during the Neolithic period, in 10,000 BC. to 3000 BC. These first centers of sedentarization and civilization developed in the region of the Fertile Crescent (now the Middle East). Because of the agricultural potential of this region, people no longer needed to live from hunting and fishing. They were now able to live from agriculture and animal husbandry.

I invite you to consult our sheet on the first centers of sedentarization in order to have more details on these.
