    The main difference between the concepts of acidity and basicity is their different pH: elements that are acidic have a pH that is between 0 and 7 on the pH scale, while elements that are basic have a pH that ranges between 7 and 14.

    Vinegar and lemon are acidic examples, while soap and oil are basic.
