    Thanks for reaching out! :)

First of all, remember that a union is an association that represents a group of workers from the same company or workplace, allowing better bargaining power between employees and managers.

When determining a collective agreement, decisions often depend on democracy. It can be a disadvantage for a worker if his opinion differs from that of the majority of his colleagues, since his voice will not be heard.

In addition, union representation requires a certain contribution from workers. They will then see a small percentage of their salary allocated to the union representing them.

Finally, a unionized worker must respect the strikes announced by his union, which can be an inconvenience.

Let us know if we can help you with anything else! :)
