    Un triangle a toujours 3 hauteurs, une partant de chaque sommet et allant jusqu'au côté opposé à ce sommet, et ce en formant un angle droit. Voici un exemple :

    La hauteur peut être à l'extérieur du triangle si on ne peut pas tracer de droite partant d'un sommet et allant jusqu'au côté opposé en formant un angle droit, comme dans l'exemple ci-dessous :

    Ainsi, pour tracer des hauteurs qui ne sont pas à l'intérieur du triangle, tu peux prolonger (en pointillé) la ligne du côté opposé, puis utiliser ton équerre pour tracer une droite perpendiculaire.
