      Hello, LoupLibre3005!

      For the first problem, the scale indicates a proportion. Karim's scale is 1:25 which means that 1 unit on the drawing represents 25 units in reality. It is equivalent to the fraction 1/25.

      For the second problem, you have to compare the ratios which, again, can be expressed as fractions.
