En voici quelques exemples:

• The old house groaned under the weight of the storm. (The house is given the human action of groaning, which suggests it is creaking and strained by the storm, making the house seem old and weary.)
• My computer is being stubborn today. (Explanation: The computer is personified as being stubborn, meaning it is not working properly and is refusing to cooperate.)
• The leaves danced in the breeze. (The leaves are personified as dancing, giving them a graceful and playful movement as they are moved by the wind.)
• The sun smiled down on us. (The sun is personified as smiling, to express a feeling of warmth, happiness, and good cheer from the weather.)
