Hello,

What are the caracteristics of neolethic village, why didn't Catal Hoyuk Village have windows, doors and streets? And why their intrances were from cealing?

    Since the Neolithic is a period very far from ours and all the remains of Çatal hüyük have not yet been unearthed, it is difficult to give precise information on the functioning of this village. Even after some research, I still couldn't find why there were no streets in Çatal Hüyük.

    However, here is what I found on the subject:

    The village of Çatal Hüyük was made up of houses very close to each other. Many believe that because the houses were so close to one another, it may have caused the inhabitants to build a second story. Because there were no streets in-between houses, people moved around on roofs. The villagers of Çatal Hüyük accessed their homes down a wooden ladder via a small opening on the roof.
