Supporting Pre-Service Teachers: Alloprof and Universities

Article
Update : February 2, 2026

Student teachers have a key role to play when it comes to educating our youth. To support student teachers, Alloprof connects with these emerging educators across Quebec every year. Our presentations provide pre-service teachers with the opportunity to explore an array of tools specifically designed to enhance educational success and academic support, empowering them to enter the teaching field with confidence and ease.

A wide range of educational tools

Our resources are invaluable for teachers at all stages of their career—aspiring, novice, and experienced—offering a revitalized approach to lesson planning, enhanced student engagement, and tailored support. While our student website showcases a wealth of educational tools, Alloprof Teachers is our specially crafted platform designed to help educators create dynamic lessons, keep students engaged, and simplify lesson planning.

Our presentations aim to familiarize future teachers with the diverse resources available on the Alloprof platform. We provide a broad spectrum of free content and tools that align with the Progression of Learning as per the Quebec Education Program.

The Alloprof Team actively engages with future teachers across Quebec by visiting university classrooms. This interaction helps us understand their challenges and craft content that reflects the dynamic nature of the teaching profession.

Virtual and in-person presentations

Alloprof specialists treasure these presentation opportunities as they allow for meaningful dialogue with aspiring teachers. Whether conducted in-person or virtually, our presentations are highly interactive. We demonstrate the platform’s many capabilities and highlight content related to specific subjects and interests, depending on what you’d like to explore!

A Motivated Audience

Post-presentation surveys reveal that pre-service teachers greatly value our sessions. An impressive 92.3% of participants indicated that they would encourage their future students to use Alloprof’s direct services and website for homework assistance. This feedback underscores the importance of initiatives like these for aspiring teachers and affirms the impact of our approach.
