Hi! In a problem, I am told that the work done on an object is 250 J and that it moves 7.5 m by a force with an orientation of 45 °. How do I know the value of the force from this?

Thank you !

Hello ! :)

Thank you for using our platform 😉

In this problem, you will need to use a formula that presents the relationship between the work (W), the force applied to an object (F), its orientation as well as the displacement of the object. object (∆x). This relation is illustrated as follows:

W = F × cos (θ) × Δx

By isolating the unknown variable, you will then be able to calculate it, because all the other variables have known values.

I hope that answers your question! Do not hesitate to rewrite to us!
