Question de l’élève

Secondaire 5 • 1m

In a Cartesian plane, the curves of two absolute value functions form a rhombus. Points A(-1, 3), B(3, 15) and C(7, 3) are three vertices of this rhombus . The question does not give us any graph… ;(

a) What are the coordinates of the fourth vertex?

can you please help me with this question:)))

A rhombus is a quadrilateral whose four sides have the same length

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhombus

A, B and C are three of the four vertices. You notice that A (-1,3) and C (7,3) are at the same level on the y axis, therefore the width is 7 - -1 = 8 and the middle of the rhombus is (3,3)

Here is a picture based on this information.

You can find the coordinates of D
