Question de l’élève

Secondaire 4 • 9j

I have a lab exam coming up, and I'd like an explanation regarding what the dependent and independent variables are in C = n/V for molar concentration. I think the independent variables are the n and V, since they determine the concentration. Is this correct? Because in lab reports, they often ask this question, and I just want to be sure I am correct or not. Thank you!

    Hi :)

    Yes, you are all good!

V and n are independent variables because you can choose them, the volume and the mass (it affects n by formula).

Ask if you have any other questions :)
