Hi :)
You have to put fractions on the same denominator first.
Next, Samara sells :
$$\frac{3}{4}$$, so it leaves $$\frac{1}{4}.$$
To calculate $$\frac{1}{3}$$ of them to know how many purses Samara has on the end od the day, we process like that :
$$\frac{1}{3}* \frac{1}{4}.$$
It leaves $$\frac{1}{12} = \frac{1}{12}.$$ So, at the end of the day, Samara has 8 purses, and it corresponds to 1/12.
Then, 1/12 = 8, so 12/12 = 8*12 = 96.
Samara had 96 purses at the begining of the day.
Hopes I help you. :) See you later at your next question :D
