    Hi !

It seems like a complicated exercise. If I am not mistaken, the goal is to replace the symbol with something that makes it work. In this case, we might be able to replace it with \(\times0\).

    $$ 1\cdot\circ\cdot1=0.1 $$

    $$ 1\times0.1=0.1 $$

However, we cannot prove it without additional examples.

I hope this helps, and if you have any further questions, feel free to ask.

    Have a nice day !
