Question de l’élève

Hi! In an in-equation you flip the symbol when dividing by a negative. But if I had a situation like this (image attached) would you still flip it? I have a math exam tomorrow and i'm really overthinking it. - Thanks! LoupLibre3005

    Good evening LoupLibre3005! :)

    Thanks for your question! :)

No, you don’t need to flip the inequality sign because you are not dividing by a negative number! :)

You only change the direction of the symbol if you divide or multiply by a negative number! :)

I hope this helped you! :)

Have a great evening! And if you have any other questions, feel free to come back and see us! :)
