Hi!
Rotational guiding allows part of an object to perform a rotational movement. In other words, the part will turn on itself.
Translational guiding allows a part to perform a translational movement. In other words, the part will move in a straight line.
Helical guiding allows a part to perform a translational movement at the same time as rotating. Thus, translation and rotation take place around the same axis.
