    Good morning zebrejaune!

    Following the Patriots' rebellions in 1837-1838, the British authorities set up trials to try the 108 Patriots accused of sedition and high treason.

    99 of them were condemned to death and twelve of these men were hanged in front of all. The other 87 escaped their fate. Of these 87 men, 58 were sent to Australia's penal colony.
