    Good evening!

    At the beginning of the 17th century, several companies were interested in the fur trade in New France.

    King Henry IV then granted the monopoly of the fur trade to a company, the Company of One Hundred Associates. In exchange, it must ensure that the colony gets populated. It must bring a certain number of settlers each year, distribute the land and ensure their survival.
