    Good evening TomateSupra7536!

A free trade agreement is a treaty signed between several countries to facilitate trade and remove barriers to trade.

For example, when NAFTA was signed between Canada, Mexico and the United States, customs duties on most traded products were eliminated, thus promoting trade between the parties.
