      Good evening!


      In 1982, the Prime Minister of Canada Pierre Elliott Trudeau would repatriate the constitution without having consulted the First Nations. After much pressure, section 35 was finally included in the draft. This article aims to recognize the many gains made by Indigenous people in nearly 70 historic treaties.
