    Modal verbs like mustmightcan't are used to express the speaker's inference based on available evidence.

    For example :

    He must be tired. (Must is used when you are certain about your deduction and that it's the only possibility)

    She might be at home. (Might is used when you are unsure)

    That can't be true! (Can't is used when you are certain about something being impossible).
