Student Question

Secondary V • 7mo.

Hi,

I was asked for a school project to spot plagiarism but me and my partner don’t agree on 2 quotes.

“Domestic profitability is not a good indication of true international competitive advantage for three important reasons." -student a

"There are three reasons why domestic profitability is not a good indicator of true international competitive advantage." - student b

I believe it’s plagiarism because they are so similar but have different phrasing. What do you guys do think?

I believe student b plagiarized student a’s text. What do you think

It is hard to say with only one sentence, but these two sentences are very similar with their phrasing and content!
