    Hello ! :D

Retaining a customer means that they will come back to buy from our company.

For example, privilege cards, contests and discounts can build customer loyalty. Someone who always puts his gasoline in the same company or who takes his coffee every morning at the same place is a loyal customer.

Generating interest is done by creating a bait for the customer to come for the first time. The company then tries to retain the customer to ensure that he comes back.

For example, free samples, welcome gifts, and discovery sessions are ways to attract a first-time customer to a company.

In summary, retention is rather long term while generating interest occurs once at the start of the retention process.

    Have a good evening ! :)
