    Good evening :)

Several events lead to the drafting of the 92 resolutions by the Patriot Party.

    About the social context :

This party was a political party mainly composed of Francophones. Around the 1830s, British immigration was more intense in the colony and this led the Patriot Party to fear assimilation.

At the level of the economic context:

Many tensions are felt in the colony via the injustices regarding the distribution of the cantons which are generally distributed to the English, which increases the anger of the Patriot.

    Hope this helps !
