    Hello,

Thank you for your question ! :D

In fact, in the 17th and 18th century, France and the United Kingdom clashed on numerous occasions for the political and economic domination of the West.

The Battle of the Plains of Abraham took place as part of the War of Conquest (1754-1760) between these two nations. The 13 colonies wished to have more territory since their population increased, but France didn’t have the same opinion.

In 1759, the British succeeded in taking possession of Quebec City by winning the Battle of the Plains.

    Hope this helps!
