    Hello FunTurtle1315, 

    A rectilinear motion is a movement in a straight line at a constant speed. 

    Therefore, as mentioned by AnanasArtistique8469, I believe the Earth is an example of rectilinear motion.

    Good question!

    Yes it is because the earth rotates around the sun on its orbit in a line. The path is curved but the motion is straight along the path. Therefore it is categorized as rectilinear motion.
