I need help I need to talk about this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0z4MiqqgIYs curling clip for a presentation, but I don't understand it! What is going on here? Why was it so amazing that she took out one of the opponents stones. Please help!

    The shot is amazing not only because of its precision but because it allowed the women's curling team of Canada to win gold at the Sochi Olympics in 2014.


    Essentially, the goal of curling is to slide heavy stones along a narrow path and place them within a set of zones, which score points for the team. The other goal is to get more points than the other team, which means that it is permitted to slide a stone at the other team's. Jennifer Jones' shot did just that: it took out an opponent stone and scored points for the team, securing the win.
