    Hi!

    The answer isn't 68 here :

You have two consecutive numbers, the first one would be x and the second one x+1. Their sum is 39. You can then pose the following equation :

    $$ x + (x+1) = 39 $$

By solving this equation, you will find x, the first number. To find the second number, add 1 to the first number you just found.

The answer isn't 6,87 here. I invite you to send us the details of your calculation so that we could help you find your error.

Regarding number 4, we know that we have twice as many 0,25$ coins as 0,10$ coins. If we set x to be the number of 0,10$ coins, then 2x would be the number of 0,25$ coins.

We also know that we have 30$ in total. You can translate this into the following equation :

    30$ = 0,10$ x nb of 0,10$ coins + 0,25$ x nb of 0,25$ coins

    $$30 = 0,10x + 0,25(2x) $$

By finding x, you will find the number or 0,10$ coins. You will then be able to find the total number of coins.

For this number, you have to write the equation of the perimeter of the trapeze, which is :

    $$ 43 = 9 + 9 + x + (x-11) $$

You did not get the right answers in these two numbers :

Apart from these numbers, everything else is good, well done! :)
