Un mouvement continu est un mouvement sans interruption, régulier et fluide, sans arrêt ni changement de direction, sans blocages soudains et saccadés. Il peut être linéaire (ex.: un train qui roule à vitesse constante) ou circulaire (ex.: une roue qui tourne sans s’arrêter).
Par exemple, un ascenseur qui monte ou descend à vitesse constante est un mouvement continu.
