Hello can someone help me understand correctly the definition of ''courthouse'' ? I know '' court '' is about the law and everything but even i'm not sure to understand the whole paragragh...

A little help please ??

Just like you wrote, a courthouse is a ''palais de justice''. Using a dictionary can help you better understand the meaning of this word. :)

From what I can understand, the duke and the king prepared the courthouse so it could be used as a theatre for their show. I don’t have the rest of the text, but since you do, based on the clues you’ve already seen, you should be able to read between the lines and understand what is happening. :)
