Why is this 70 cm with sig figs? I thought it was supposed to be 73 cm... can someone help explain?

      Hi !

      First, there is a link that I suggest you visit for the theory about significant figures :

      So let us put them in meters first. You will then have the operation as follow :

      $$ 7,5m-6,774m=0,726m=0,7m $$

      You can see now that the answer must have only one significant figure.
