Alloprof Parents’ mission

Alloprof Parents’ mission is to provide parents with free, practical resources to help them support their child (ages 6–17) throughout their academic journey. Parents can find a wide range of education-related articles, blog posts, topics, tools, and videos produced and reviewed by experts.

Similar to an 811 health line service, Alloprof Parents offers parents a direct line of communication with specialists, such as remedial teachers.They’re available Monday to Thursday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., either by phone or instant message on the Alloprof Parents Facebook page.

Alloprof Teachers' mission

Alloprof Teachers offers practical tools designed to make the most of Alloprof resources and help the teaching community better support students and their parents with school-related challenges. 

The service includes a wealth of articles, learning activities, themed content, and printable resources— all developed to give teachers in Quebec a helping hand.

Awards and distinctions

  • 2024: Jacynthe Côté, president of our board of directors for the past 10 years, is inducted into the Canadian Business Hall of Fame and wins the 2024 AFP Québec Award for Outstanding Volunteer in Philanthropy for her work with Alloprof and the CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation.

  • 2023: Sandrine Faust, executive director of Alloprof, is appointed to the Ordre national du Québec for her contribution to building and revitalizing Quebec society. The Ordre is the highest distinction conferred by the Quebec government.

  • 2022 : Sandrine Faust is named an Emeritus Member of the Quebec Order of Excellence in Education in recognition of her significant contribution to the Quebec education system and its development.

  • 2020 : Alloprof wins a Prix Hibou (“educate” category), granted by the Fédération autonome de l’enseignement (FAE) as part of the 11th Semaine pour l’école publique (SPEP).

  • 2017 : The Policy on Educational Success highlights the benefits of Alloprof for parents of students and adults enrolled in general education.

  • 2017 : Alloprof takes home the Grand Prix Boomerang (“website or application – non-profit organization category”) for its Cyberprofs service.

  • 2014 : Alloprof wins the OCTAS award (“culture and society” category) for its web platform.

  • 2011 : Alloprof wins the OCTAS Coup de cœur award (“IT in culture, education, or media sectors with 100 employees or fewer” category) for its web platform.

  • 2009 : Sandrine Faust is named La Presse/Radio-Canada Personality of the Year (“courage, humanism, and personal achievement” category).

  • 2007 : Alloprof wins the Mérite du français award (“website – small- and medium-sized organization” category) granted by the Office québécois de la langue française.
