Montreal, February 5, 2025 – As part of Teacher Appreciation Week, Alloprof is proud to announce an expansion of its Alloprof Teachers platform, a space dedicated to helping teachers, thanks to a generous $600,000 donation from RBC.
More specifically, this strategic partnership will allow Alloprof to add more resources to the website:
- Effective teaching tools to address learning difficulties
- Turnkey learning activities to simplify lesson planning
- Personalized exam review guides
- Brand-new continuing education courses, complete with recognition badges, launching with a live webinar on March 19 at 12:15 p.m. (“Dynamiser l’apprentissage du français au secondaire avec Alloprof”) - in French only
“Alloprof Teachers was launched three years ago and now offers nearly 200 ready-to-use resources,” says Pascal Bonaldo, student services manager and spokesperson at Alloprof. “These tools are time savers when it comes to lesson planning, not to mention a great way for teachers to diversify their teaching methods and keep students engaged. Their use has increased by 150% each year—a clear sign of their growing popularity.”
“Our resources are especially valuable for new teachers,” adds Bonaldo. “Our long-term goal is to help them stay in the profession.” Research indicates that 50% of new teachers leave the field within the first five years. To support them, Alloprof offers a dedicated section: New Teachers: Practical Resources to Help You Hit the Ground Running.
A Committed Partner
Having collaborated with Alloprof for eight years, RBC is doubling down on its commitment to the organization by becoming the official partner of Alloprof Teachers. “This donation marks a pivotal moment, because it will enable the development of more practical resources aimed at helping teachers in their day-to-day work,” says Marjolaine Hudon, regional president of RBC Quebec. “We are proud to renew our support to Alloprof. By promoting education, we are actively participating in the academic success of Quebec youth.”
