24 Challenges for Oral Spelling Practice

There are many ways to help your child practise their spelling, in English or in French. In addition to the vocabulary lists they receive in class, you can suggest the following resources:

1. Print the tool.
2. Cut out the wheel and arrow.
3. Attach the arrow to the centre of the wheel with a brad clip.
4. Choose a list of challenges.
5. Spin the wheel. Find the number the arrow lands on in the list you selected.
6. Spell a word that . . . (according to the list and the number you spun).
7. Repeat as many times as you like.
