We often talk about motivation. But what is it, exactly? Motivation is a state of mind that drives you to choose activities, commit to them, and persevere to achieve a goal.

Intrinsic motivation is when you want to do something because you enjoy it. If you sign up for a robotics workshop because you like your science classes, that’s intrinsic motivation. This is the most powerful type of motivation, and it will bring you the most joy as you perform a task.
