Since its creation in 1996, Alloprof has been working hard to help Quebec students excel and achieve academic success. To that end, we are committed to providing the entire community (students, parents, and education professionals) with free professional services and educational resources.

We know that supporting teachers, students, and their parents is your top priority. Learn more about Alloprof’s services and resources, and how we can support you.

Alloprof for students

Students are as much a part of your mission as they are a part of ours. The Alloprof website offers personalized homework help through the Help Zone (moderated by teachers and available at any time) and Ask a Teacher (by phone, text, or chat). Introducing teachers to these services can help them better support their students. Teachers go to great lengths to help their students, but they can’t answer their questions all the time. Our teachers lend yours a helping hand by helping students outside of class hours.

Alloprof for students continues to grow, offering content for all levels and subjects in a variety of formats:

  • Concept sheets: Alloprof has more than 3,000 concept sheets covering all the main concepts for elementary and high school subjects. They feature illustrations, examples, formulas, and relevant references, and are a great resource for understanding new material. Many of the concept sheets are also supplemented by videos, animations, and interactive exercises. The concept sheet library is also a gold mine for teachers, since the sheets can be used to teach material in class, as well as for student assignments and lesson review.
  • Videos (french only): Alloprof features short, entertaining videos on all kinds of subjects. They are also on our YouTube channel. There are  other, longer videos that are mainly to help high school students prepare for exams. These videos, called Crash Lessons (in French only), are interactive, allowing students to check their understanding through exercises. These videos can also be great additions to teachers’ lesson plans.
  • Exercises: Solving problems is good practice, and a fundamental way for students to check their understanding of what they are studying. Alloprof features over a thousand interactive quizzes and exercises for different subjects, which provide constructive feedback for students. They are also practical for teachers, who can use them for classroom assessments, cooperative learning, homework, etc.
  • Games and applications: The benefits of learning through play are well established. Alloprof’s games and apps make learning fun, which increases students’ motivation. With these games, students can test their knowledge without worrying about making mistakes, while still staying motivated. Most of the main subjects are covered, including math, reading comprehension, spelling, etc. There are so many good reasons for students to try them—recommend them to parents, they’ll appreciate it!

Promotional material

We are happy to send free, high-quality promotional material to schools across Quebec. When parents see our posters in classrooms and on bulletin boards, they learn more about our services and our mission to promote academic success. We also have fun, colourful stickers that teachers and parents can use to encourage kids.
We are offering stickers of Flo, our smiling green mascot, who is already a star on social media, to hand out in class!
