When studying history, document analysis is a very important step that may be difficult at times for students.

One of the most effective methods for document analysis is the 5Ws method. It makes it easy to identify the relevant information in the various documents of a document file, such as images, text, maps, diagrams, etc.

The acronym 5Ws refers to the questions that students should ask themselves : “who?”, “what?”, “when?”, “where?” and “why?”.
