    A square number is a number that has a square root. For example, the numbers 4,9,36 are square numbers (2x2 = 4 / 3x3 = 9 / 6x6 = 36)

    A cubic number is a number that has a cubic root. For example, 8 and 27 (2x2x2 = 8 / 3x3x3 = 27)
