Good morning Alloprof teachers!

what does it mean when a function says for example f(5)=12? Which is the X and y value? Thank you for the help!!

    Hi,

    When you see something like f(5) = 12 the number inside the parentheses is x and the value after the equal sign is y. 

    So in f(5) = 12, x = 5 and y = 12.
