    Hi !

This is a complicated number. To be rounded to 50,000 when rounded to the nearest ten thousand, the original number must be between 45,000 and 54,999.

And to be rounded to 50,000 when rounded to the nearest thousand, the original number must be between 49,500 and 50,499.

The only way to achieve both possibilities would be between 49,500 and 50,499.

I hope this explanation helps and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask them.

    Have a nice evening !
