Student Question

Secondary V • 10mo.

Hi,

Regarding Chapter 2 UARM:

I saw online I can just simply multiply 5/18 to get m/s. Is this ok or will I lose marks on my exam. Btw, it's been about 16 years since I did mathematics so In a bit rusty in this department.

Thank you,

    Hello PeacefulPumpkin8091!

Thank you for your question! 🙂

To make sure you don’t lose points, I recommend breaking down your steps and writing out each formula. These additional steps could help you secure extra points in case you make calculation errors.

If you only keep the 5/18 multiplication without writing the formula, and you make a mistake in your calculations, you risk losing all your points.

To be absolutely sure, I suggest asking your teacher about this as well. They will be the best person to guide you! 😊

I hope this helped! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

    Have a great day! 😃
