    Hi!

    You have the expression:

    $$(x+4)² + (2x-3)(x+4)$$

You can rewrite it like this:

    $$(x+4)(x+4) + (2x-3)(x+4)$$

    Now you can factor (x+4):

    $$(x+4)[(x+4) + (2x-3)]$$

    Then simplify the big parenthesis:

    $$(x+4)(x+4 + 2x-3)$$

    $$(x+4)(3x+1)$$

    There you go! :D
