    Hi, NeptuneJuste2965

Thank you for using the Help zone

First of all, the equation you provided is a chemical reaction more specifically an unbalanced decomposition reaction. Although, it is unclear whether your goal is to balance the equation or understand it. This reaction is made up of magnesium carbonate (Mg2CO3), oxygen gas (O2), magnesium peroxide (Mg02) and carbon dioxide (CO2). Also, the balanced equation would be 2 Mg2CO3 + O2 =2 MgO2 + 2 CO2.

If you're still unclear you can refer to this page for more information.

    Hi !

It looks like a decomposition reaction wich is a type of chemical reaction where the atoms of a reactant dissociate and rearrange to form several products.

I hope this helps and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask them.

    Have a nice evening !
