Tips and tools for elementary school students

Your child may not like hearing that there’s no magic formula for good grades! To achieve their goals, students simply have to study. In short, they should take every opportunity to understand and memorize the material. As a parent, you can help your child be well prepared by encouraging them to do the following:

Tips and tools for high school students

This year, end-of-year exams will count for 65 percent of your child’s final grade. For many students, this is an additional stress factor. If your teen is stressed about exam season, help them end this difficult year on a lighter note by suggesting they take some time for themselves. Perhaps they could do one of the following:

  • Take a 20-minute walk before hitting the books
  • Play sports to improve concentration
  • Establish a routine to avoid being overwhelmed by an increasing workload
  • Learn to say “no” to avoid overloading their schedule
