Artificial intelligence (AI) is a very broad field of computer science. IIt includes different types of AI with different uses.
Generative AI (GenAI) is a specialized type of AI. It is used to generate content like text, images or videos.
AI Misconceptions
It may sometimes feel like AI is acting just like a human. The reality is AI is a computer system.
It can perform tasks by following a set of rules and instructions. This is what we call algorithms.
AI imitates what the human brain does, but it doesn't have a human brain!

AI, especially chatbots like Chat-GPT, are made to sound convincing, to sound like experts. That does not mean they are accurate.
It is even easier to fall for it when asking about topics we are struggling with. Make sure to double-check!
Is it a good idea to use AI for homework?
The reason you have homework is to complete work done in class or to practice certain skills. Using AI can be helpful in some instances, but using it to do the work for you? That’s just like copying the answer from someone else.
