Hi, I just need a little help since i have my math exam tomorrow. Can someone just give me a quick refresher on optimization.. I could translate the sentences to equations and just plotting it onto the graph but when i get to the rest i have 0 clue on what to do ill put in a question i was struggling on. Thanks.

    Hello, AdorableCrocodile8099!

Once you graph the inequalities, you get the polygon of constraints, which is the common region determined by the intersection of the solution sets.

    Let's use the following example.

Your next step is to determine the coordinates of the vertices of the polygon of constraints. To find them, take the equations of the 2 boundary lines and solve the system of equations.

You then need to find the optimal vertex by replacing x and y in the function to be optimized with the coordinates of each point found in the previous step.

The goal is to maximize the revenue. Since vertex C yields the maximum revenue, its coordinates optimize the situation.

Finally, you give a full answer.
