There are six sides on a regular six-sided dice. There are two dice and you are allowed to draw the same number twice. Therefore, the number of possible combinations for each draw is :
$$ 6\:sides•6\:side = 36\:combinations $$
However, I suspect that you are referring to the number of unique combinations. In that case, you must take into account that each combination of numbers can manifest twice (because there are two dice, both with the same numbers). Therefore, the number of unique combinations is:
$$ 36\:combinations÷2 = 18\:unique\:combinations $$
