In this day and age, when looking for an answer to an academic question, our first instinct is often to search online. However, this can be frustrating for kids and teens. Not only do they need to sift through an abundance of irrelevant and incorrect information, but they also need to navigate the risks of using the internet.
Of course, they can always browse Alloprof’s concept sheets. But with the Help Zone, there is no need to search for a relevant, comprehensive, and customized answer to their question. Here is how to use it:
- First, using a computer, tablet, or phone, you need to log in or create an account. Remember to write down your password!
- Then, make your way to the Help Zone (link in the upper right-hand corner of all pages on the site!).
- Type a question in the “What is your question?” box. You can also submit a photo (yes, even geometry drawings!) or screenshot along with your question.
- Select the appropriate subject and grade level, and click “Publish.” And there you have it!
- Your child will then receive a notification that will take them to the explanation for their question in “My Questions.”
