Rules

Exclamation marks are used to:

  • indicate the end of a sentence

  • express an exclamation & interjection

  • emphasize an emotion

The word following an exclamation mark is always capitalized.

Examples

For exclamation

Selina the inventor yelling at her cat eating her food.

To emphasize emotion

Selina the inventor scolding her cat because he broke a flower vase, apparently.
